The full title of this work is, “Examples of Youthful Piety, Principally Intended for the Instruction of Young Persons.” This inspiring publication gathers together all of the spiritual experiences and dying testimonies of children from the four volumes of Piety Promoted, also adding many others not previously published. The testimonies in this work—taken from young persons between the ages of six and twenty-five—span a period of about 200 years and are a united and powerful confirmation of the importance of Solomon’s exhortation: “Remember now your creator in the days of your youth.”

Friends Library Publishing exists to freely share the writings of early members of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers), believing that no other collection of Christian writings more accurately communicates or powerfully illustrates the soul-transforming power of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
